All over the globe different types of people face different types of crimes, violence, torture and disrespect. These types of actions done by theother people are led by hatred and by being different. Gay people are a type of group that threat others with kindness and are not known to use violence. They fight for be freed and have the priveldge to get married. There are being numerous of cases where crimes have been made against people by their sexual orientation. So, we need to stand up for them and make a change.
In life everybody makes good and bad decisions, they risk their lives for chances that it will change their life and society must accepted change so we can survive. If humanity doesn't get along how can we as humans can get thorugh each other. As Martin Luther King jr. once said : " we must learn to live together as brothers or will periah as fools." Every human have to get along to survive and deal with each other. If we killed the different types of people , by time goes on all humanity is lost.
Society doesn't have to respect homosexuality they just don't have to be against it. Everybody can get along if nobody mess with nobody's buisness. Everybody have their beliefs as well they love somebody, so they are free to married them so why don't have to make a strike or crimes against gay people. So, let's make a stand and mark a difference around the whole world.

LGBT Change
Harvey meet surprise society when we declared himself as a gay person. He made a big change when he made a civil rights that billed that outlawed discrimination on sexual orientation. He was the very first gayperson to be elected in an public office. LGBT activists were surprised when they received little help. However, LGBT activism and politics were not his interest at a young age. But, when he grows his 40's and became politcal face he made a stand and change for LGBT.
Only 5 cities in the US allowed same sex mariage: Conneticut, Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington D.C.The first state to become legal in U.S. was Massachusetts(2004). Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin were the 1st legally marriend in US on Feb.12 2004, after being an gay couple over 50 years. After, all the hard work to be free together and after all the insults they were given theyended happily married.
Gay mariage has been the important right of gays for the moment. They don't care about the hate crime, insults, or abuses they only want to be with their true love. That's something people should respect, so i'm support that the major change that happen for them was "Gay Marriage" . American people rejected them and excluded from society also harm them, but what the most people have to admire they don't care they come at peace.

Struggle & Activism against LGBT
Freely lesbians and gay members of the US military were subjected to the US's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy. On December 18, 2010, The U. S. Senate voted 65-31 in favor of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010 which permitted LGBT people to serve openly in the armed forces. So, means that the arny doesn't forbid them to enter without being discriminated.
But, they have been discriminated in employment (such as hiring, promotion, job assignment etc..), housing (discrimination against potential or current tenants by landlords), hate crimes (crimes motivated from feelings that began from enmity against a class).
After Harvey Milk became the first openly homosexual man elected to any substantial political office in history. About thousands of amaze people wrote to him: "I thank God," wrote a 68-year-old homosexual, "I have lived long enough to see my kind emerge from the shadows and join the human race."
There was a time when it was impossible for people straight or homo to imagine a man like Harvey Milk. The irony about this is that Milk is didn't seem to care that he lived in such a time. After he defied the governing class of San Francisco in 1977 to become a member of a politcal office, many people had to adjust to the reality that he embodied, that a gay person could live an honest life and succeed.
LGBT people are peaceful they don't use violence. Society tend to discriminate them and abuse them by hate crimes. Their are rejected by society, their economic life is not so good not so great.

Opression on LGBT people
Gay people over the whole world have been mistreated by many diferent ways. By abuse, insults, killed, torture, disrespected etc... Some goverment doesn't let them marry althought they live in an free country. If they live in a free country why can't they marry like everybody? People have killed a large amount of gays. For example in Puerto Rico, Juan A. Martinez Matos dismembered body of 19 year-old college student Jorge Steven López Mercado. López was a volunteer for organizations supporting HIV prevention and gay rights. Another case at P.R., a transgendered woman named Ashley Santiago was found naked on the floor and was stabbed 14 times and the killer is unknown.
Gay people aren't to have mariage. So, why they are living in a free country if they are not let to get married? Mariage is prohibited in many diferent countries, in those countries more than half the habitants are against it. Some have to go to another country to get married. They get married, but it still their country doesn't change and society rejects them. Sometimes people use violence against them to try and stop them. But, wherever there are gay people they don't let the people get the best of them and they continue on with their life and stay happy.
The Civil Rights of the LGBT are violated every time someone tries to go against them. Many hate crimes have been comitted against the LGBT group. Some people use the excuse of being homophobic or intimidation. Gay people mean no harm they only just want to be free and happy. So, why you want to killed them if they hadn't do you no damage? Civil rights are being against as freedom and the right to speak. This group is an mistreated and abuse group. Gay people are wanting and waiting for the change before is too late.
Since 1979, Iran has executed more than 4,000 people charged with homosexual acts in their country. It tis sad that a goverment kills its own people, cause they don't accept how they are. It a negative view point of them cause you can't kill anyone for no reason. The world can soon end if all man kind kills each other. :(

The Birth of LGBT
LGBT stands for Lesbians Gay Bisexual Transgender. Gay is an adjective meaning for "homosexual".
Many years ago in 1637, the Oxford English Dictionary defined gay as an addict pursuing physical and social pleasures. It has become to refer to individuals who lead an immoral, loose life. During the 1800s the term “gay” was commonly used to describe female prostitutes, also to “gay it” stood for “to couple up” or “to copulate.”
In 1935, “geycat” was used to refer to a homosexual boy. By 1966, “gay” was began to be used in the same context as it is used today. People believed that Peter Wildeblood was the first human being to use the word gay to mean homosexuals in his notes in Against Law. However, there’s no proof of this, male homosexuals could have been using gay already even long before it was published.
There are 8.8 million LGBT people in the U.S based on the 2005/2006 American Community Survey(an extension of the U.S. Census).
The LGBT people are not that strong cause people are against them. They are discriminated, but are also supported. But, in US every has their own rights and their freedom to speak their minds. So, that means they are allowed to be free without being judged.

Review of Classmates blog ;)
Keven's Blog
What he say was true, but some of the words doesn't make sense. Has to correct when wording. It was interesting because the whites manipulated the indians with making promise they didn't kept.
Carlos's Blog
He is right on the indians being obligated to choose a christian name. The whites were abusive and killed many indians, betrayal. Indians gave up land, but they were given not a many food. What make interesting was the name indians had to choose from a book.
Cristian's Blog
Talks about whites wanting native americans to assimilate. Some indians stayed at Lakota resevation, other settle in Canada. The most interesting of Chris blog is the details he wrote of how Native Americans were treated.
Raymond's Blog
Had some errores in spelling and wording. But the information was okay. His blog was most about of how the whites wanted to take the land of the Native Americans and they made the indians move into reservations.
Hector P. Blog's
This blog was very intriguing. His was about the whites trying to take control of the Sioux. Whites negotiate with the indians, but they always didn't kep their promises. Whites used forced to try to get the indians to assimilate. Most indians lost their identity when they change their name, and most of all their pride.

Indian Wipeout
Native Americans were the first in the US and were almost extinct by the whites. Whites manipulated the Native Americans during their proposals. They also abused the Native Americans, with theri modern technology. Native Americans were almost wipeout.
The white people manipulated the Native Americans always. The whites always propose to indians to give up the for money, if they didn't they were going to their land. In the movie, Dause tried to manipulate the tribes. Red Cloud fell to the whites, but Sitting Bull didn't and got himself assassinated. The whites perspective was that US was their land.
Every battle, more clearly seen as a massacre, whites abused the Native Americans with their modern technology. They had more guns than what the indians got by trade. The whites were more educated and had knowledge than the Indians .Whites had power within the government that Indians never had.
Native Americans were almost wipeout. The whites killed so many indians that their race almost ended. As in the movie the whites left the indians defenseless and killed the majority. They arrested anyone they wanted and kill like they kill Sitting Bull. The whites spread diseases during the camps. Like in the movie, the disease started by one person getting sick and then it spread on and on. When the whites didn't support them with enough food they got hunger often. The reservations were not maintain by the whites, the indians had to clean themselves up with no help.
Many Native Americans died in the hands of the white people that almost got them extinct. The white people had more strength in numbers, more soldiers than the whites. Native Americans were the primitive people in US and the white were the modern type of people.

Reflection of my classmates blogs!!
Keven's blog about today's immigration I don't agree with it a lot.Cause if we where it the same place they we would do anything to have freedom and safety. They should immigrate legally but if they can't do it they have the right to have new opportunities and be free. Nobody should fight against them because everybody came from immigrated ancestries.People in their position to know how they feel.
I like the journal blog of Paulette, cause is based on how life should be when it comes to immigration. Cause they had the chance to live in America. They got the opportunity of living the american dream. It was a hard fight but they won it. They didn't had lot of money but the lived free in American land of opportunites.
Carlos's blog on Italian immigration is sad cause they left Italy due to crisis and potatoe famine. Many people got killed and died from many diseases. Italians were called birds of passage because they went to the US and when they gain money they could return to Italy being economically better.
Arshad is mostly about Irsih People. Most Irish immigrated from Ireland cause they were looking for jobs and many new opportunities, so they went the land that had it America. Lots of Irish work in potatoe's factories. They got to experience a bettere life that they lived.

New's Article: Determinig your visa
-Article is about determing which visa is right your you. If your visit on the US is temporarily due to business or came as a tourist or do you want to live at the US permanently and work there also. My personal opinion is that people should be treated fairly. Everyone goes to the US for a reason and own purposes. A tourist comes to the US to experience how is the enviroment and the experience of a lifetime o going vacationes to see new things. Work temporarily you got no choice cause your jobs demands it or it for your own comfort and having safety on a satisfy economy and opportunities. Living permanently could be to have a new live and start where you left of. Satisfy with the economy, government, and how are you treated. These could be reasons of millions of people around the world. No one should be discriminated cause we are equal we have to learn how to survive with each other cause we are all alike and shall be given same priveliges.

It was a dark scary night, everyone here are killing, robbing in the republic. I was standing without shelther in a raining night with no hope. As days and the nights passed I became skinnier and skinnier cause I had no eaten a lot. I didn't had a job. I wish I could get any type of job. I didn't care if it was nasty as clean toilets or hand flires out I would like a opportunity of a life time a get out of here!!
October 6, 1941
Yesterday, I came along with a drunk man saying that he heard rumors of people going to hong kong to leave China and go to the new world. It came so interesting to find out more about this. I went to a friend of my Ki Kaia and she told me she hadn't heard that rumor being true. She was a jorunalist travel everywhere when she wanted. But, when Go Saung came to her office he told when she was go aboard to the new world. She became nervous a trow him out of her office. She gave me the deeds on getting aboard.
November 19, 1941
I went to my lover's house, Lucy Lee Tang. I told her to pack her things up at leave the country, she agreed cause she was recently fired and broke. We stood 52 feet across the ship that was taking us to the United States for new opportunities. We went running to the ship and a soldier saw us breakin the law cause we hadn't permission. When he was cuffing us a hobo shot the soldier dead. He said to us, "Take you for making the difference, China is no longer safe." That make me think a lot. Lucy slept while a was drinking coffee to make sure of our safety on board.

This is a serious thing to think about we americans are lucky to live with freedom without restrictions. I very sad , so sad about Lee.

Chinese people immigrating on US!!
Chinese people had a tough time immigrating on US soil. Chinese population fell in the US after the Gold Rush cause the law imbalance male to female ratio. When they got to the US they were well treated. The Chinatowns were rich in culture. They were the traditional Chinese places where chinese americans lived, worked, shopped, and socialize. The types of most chinese people held at the time were chefs, peddlers, store keepers..When the chinese were having difficulties with their immigration was when they decline when they had to return to China due to the highly imbalance sex ratio and bring back monetary support for families.
